My Princess's Cake

     Princess Sophia is a barbie lover and you can see that her room is filled with barbie dolls. Whenever we go to the mall she would go running to the toy's section and immersed herself with the numerous barbie dolls. She'll have her own world and imaginary barbie friend. On her 6th birthday, she requested to have a doll cake. As a mom, I had to grant her wish or else she would be a miserable birthday girl. We browsed through youtube videos and looked through different doll cakes. You could see in her face how anxious she is in having her own barbie doll cake. 
   Finally on the eve of her birthday, we started making her doll cake and like a real princess she was there standing in front of me instructing what color to use and what accessories she wanted to be put on the cake. Of course, she enjoyed lending her little hands on putting balls and flowers as her share of labor. We had a marvelous time together and it was a great mother and daughter bonding moment.
